Pasta Galore: I Love Carbs (Pt. 2)

Time to reunite over our love of pasta again.
To be honest, these food blog posts aren’t really reviews - or well it wasn’t really my intention to review foods for you guys. It’s more like a food photo diary. Plus, no one has that much of an attention span to read paragraphs reviewing food.

Trattoria Timone

I went to this place as an after work thing and there were two Italians there with us and they found it delicious, so must mean its good, right? BAHA

Joking aside, this place was really good - like very good. I got the seafood Pappardelle. I don’t even have to say anything, the picture tells the whole story. The flavours were good, the texture was good, everything was good.

Just take my word for it and visit this restaurant, you won’t be disappointed. 10/10 definitely would recommend. You can find their website here.

Bonus: more photos from this place - again, all delicious.

360 Restaurant

This (again) was for work. And to be honest, it was actually pretty tasty (or maybe I drank a little too much, I couldn’t tell?). Going at night, you see the night skyline of Toronto and its pretty nice. Of course, a 360 view because you’re constantly rotating. Don’t worry, you aren’t going fast enough to get dizzy.

I think I got the Coast to Coast Shrimp Cavatelli? I don’t know what shape of pasta cavatelli is but after a quick Google search, the first few images don’t seem to match the pasta in my photo. Besides that, the pasta was tasty. I don’t know what’s with me and pasta, and especially seafood pasta…

The experience was really cool though - you can find their website here.

Moxie’s Grill & Bar

You might be thinking: Ew. Pasta at a large chain restaurant. That was my thought too but it was surprisingly tasty. Not surprisingly, I got seafood pasta but doesn’t look like it’s on the menu anymore, so I can’t speak for their other pasta dishes.

Shrimp & Lobster pasta but no longer on the menu. Which sucks because it was actually pretty tasty. You can find other food items on their website here though.

If you have another pasta place where you’re like, “Oh, come on Thomas, how could you not have tried [enter restaurant here] you are missing out.” Don’t tell me it doesn’t compare to pasta in Italy because I KNOW. ONE DAY I WILL BE EATING PASTA IN ITALY. Or if your pasta dish is amazing, hit me up?!

Bye!

Thomas
